Consider these questions

By Rita Murdock

This week consider these questions in your life. He knows us, but do I know Him? How can I get to know Him? Why should I know Him? What will this knowledge of God mean for me? What is the purpose of my being? Do I make a difference? God designed each one of us and sees the total picture. He gave us talents, virtue, and wants to give us grace. He gives us the opportunity to know right and wrong and the free will to choose either.

Father Janusz and St. Therese parish provides many resources to help us get to know HIM. Bible studies, religious education, excellent CD’s in the Church lobby, books and videos in the Church library, speak with Mike Lambrecht in the Religious Education office, and seek out Father Janusz for spiritual direction. Pray and praise God for He is good and good to know!

He is life and He has given us life. Let us do all we can to choose life, physical and spiritual for ourselves here so that we can enjoy that place that God has prepared for us. During the anniversary week of the legalization of abortion, we will be seating a new president. Let us pray that he be guided to protect all life. Remember that God is the Creator of love. He is the way, the truth, and the life. He has a purpose for all His creatures. Let’s get to know God so we can love Him. Then we will want to serve Him. Jesus revealed Himself to us, the epiphany.  What do we reveal about ourselves? Who are we?
