The teachable moment

     What would Jesus do? We fall short of our goals and perfections because we are human. But Jesus is still the model. Read the Gospels to learn. Study the parable messages to act appropriately. The Bible tells us what Jesus did and can do in our lives.

     There is the story of mom making super size pancakes one by one for her children. After a lengthy discussion about who should get the first pancake, Mom asks that question: “What would Jesus do?”. More discussion followed amongst the children and then...the eldest child says to the youngest, “You can be Jesus today”!

     The lesson we learn - be Jesus first!
