Stations of the Cross

      Here we are, back in Lent and having the opportunity to go to the Stations of the Cross. What beautiful passages we use as we say these prayers! The stations are very biblical. The opening story of the station and the prayer the people say are all directly from the Bible. Singing the Sabat Mater is so sad but beautiful. It helps us keep focused on what station we are on. As we progress through the stations, we know how it ends and it gives us hope, because we know that after the Suffering is Resurrection. If you are not able to attend the Stations of the Cross at church, pick up a stations booklet  and say them at home. You will find it very worth your time.
