Easter
By Father Janusz
Easter (Passover, Easter Sunday) - is the oldest and most important Christian feast commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The week preceding it, the time for remembering the most important events of the Christian faith, is called Holy Week. The last three days of the week - Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday are known as the Easter Triduum (Triduum Sacrum). It is true that every Sunday is the memorial of the Resurrection of Christ, but Easter Sunday is a reminder of Christianity’s most solemn.
I would like to wish to all of you a very deep belief and faith in the words of St. Paul’s preaching. We were buried with him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might live in newness of life. If we have grown into union with him through a death like his, we shall also be united with him in the resurrection. May this one, who is the True Lamb, conquer our weakness and enlighten the darkness of our doubts. May your hearts be filled with hope and peace.
