“Catholicism for Dummies.” I know what you’re thinking—I already know my faith, I am not a dummy, I wouldn’t be seen dead with such a book. Before you jump to such conclusions, you might like to know that “Catholicism for Dummies” is a very easily read explanation of Catholic teachings written by two priests affiliated with EWTN. Although you will find a lot of the same information inside the Catechism, this book uses everyday language to explain such things as the Sacraments, Saints, worship, prayer, devotions, and so much more. The next time you are in a bookstore you might want to take a moment to browse through Catholicism for Dummies. You might be surprised at what you learn.
